At Parkway North High School in St. Louis, Kiland Sampa was an avid tennis player. In fact, he led his team to State as a freshman and well-ranked in the United States Tennis Association. And then came the pool diving accident that changed his life.
His family says, “[we] were not prepared for this situation and didn’t know where to get help…” Fortunately they found MO KIDS.
MO KIDS empowered Kiland with new van and a ramp built to the front of his house. Now he has the ability to get out and about, get stronger, and return to his normal routine. Kiland is now attending a community college and volunteers at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. Kiland is a great mentor and role model for our younger recipients.
Kiland and his family wish to express how grateful and thankful they are for MO KIDS assistance.
