Meet Bradyn
On May 17, 2023, Bradyn was a member of her cheer squad when she and a friend were in a terrible ATV accident. Both girls were found unconscious at the scene. Sadly, the driver did not survive but Braydn was airlifted to Mercy Hospital to be stabilized and was then transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where she was treated for 78 days for her traumatic brain injury.
Bradyn was transferred to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital and was discharged on December 21, 2023. She is now home and continuing therapy at Winchester Spine & Sport and doing dynamic neuromuscular stimulation twice a week.
Being wheelchair bound, she requires special transportation and Missouri KIDS provided their family with an adaptive van that will help her participate in family activities and get to appointments. It is not known yet what future needs there will be but Missouri KIDS will be there to help!
Bradyn is just one of the many inspiring stories of adversity we see with every athlete supported by Missouri KIDS. Through financial support from members of the community, just like you, we can continue to help more athletes and their families in the same way. We appreciate any financial support you can provide.
