Meet Mariya
Mariya lives in St. Louis and majoring in pre-med. Mariya was a competitive swimmer until she was injured in a diving accident.
Missouri KIDS has been able to empower Mariya’s independence with the purchase of a Swedish help arm which is a counterbalanced arm sling that provides functional assistance & muscle re-education to help with eating meals, drinking & other tasks. Missouri KIDS has also provided Mariya with a computer & specialized software.
