Meet Michael B.
Michael is from St. Louis. Michael was homeschooled for high school and played soccer, baseball and basketball before his accident. In 2011 at age 16, Michael became a MO kid after a diving accident. The accident injured his C5 and C6 vertebrae. This spinal cord injury left Michael with impaired mobility.
Missouri KIDS has helped Michael by providing an air purifier for his home and tuition assistance. We have also helped by paying for therapy sessions, a Y membership and swimming lessons.
Michael graduated from Emory University where he double majored in Math/Computer Science and Film Theory. He enjoys filmmaking, computer science, and calligraphy.
