Meet Michael S.
He is from Perryville, Missouri and attended Perryville High School where he was on the football, weightlifting, and track and field teams. Michael S. became a MISSOURI KID after a car accident. The accident caused a C6/C7 incomplete quadriplegic spinal cord injury.
Missouri KIDS has helped Michael by providing a lift for his home, a racing wheelchair, and assistance with his first rugby wheelchair and a handcycle. These purchases have helped Michael stay active and allow him to continue doing what he loves.
Michael enjoys quad rugby, weightlifting, handcycling, hunting and spending time with family and friends. After his accident, Michael attended the University of Missouri St. Louis with his twin brother.
