Meet Travis
Travis is from Marble Hill, Missouri and attended Woodland High School where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. Travis became a Missouri kid after he was in a car accident. The accident injured his C5 and C6 vertebrae causing a paraplegic spinal cord injury. Missouri KIDS has helped Travis by providing a ramp and an environmental control unit for his home and by paying for driving lessons. After the accident, Travis then went on to get his degree at Southeast Missouri State University. Travis is very active in his community. He is Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce. In the past, he has served as presiding Commissioner of Bollinger County. In addition to enjoying local sports, Travis loves spending time with his two godsons and watching them play sports.
Thank You For Your Donation
“Words cannot express my gratitude for your generous support. When a family goes through such devastation as mine did, it is hard to recover without the support of such generous people as the donors for Missouri Kids. I hope they realize what an impact they have on us. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.” -Travis
